Beijing Benz is a leading Sino-foreign joint venture in China's sedan industry. Its assets are huge and complicated. It takes a lot of manpower and time to count assets every year. Beijing Benz hopes to build an online asset inventory system platform, which can support and continue the SAP fixed asset master system,seamlessly integrates OA, and at the same time combines with digital means to take inventory of assets,in order to deal with complex inventory situations. Beijing Taibo build a digital asset management system platform for Beijing Benz, assist Beijing Benz to realize complex inventory such as full inventory/drawing, ledger management, real-time change and allocation of asset information and other functions, to maximize the the availability of all staff.At the same time, it is hoped that the system software of the unified asset management platform will be "one system".And Beijing Taibo will integrate the major asset management platform of Beijing Benz into "One System" to realize the standardized application and unified management of Beijing Benz's asset management.
Current Situation of Asset Management of Beijing Benz:
As of 2018, the total number of assets of Beijing Benz has exceeded 110,000. Every year, 2-3 company-level inventory and several department-level inventory are required, as well as numerous confirmations of asset information inconsistency and various allocations. These operations are based on the SAP system + IBM's OA + Microsoft Excel, which is actually purely manual. This is seriously inconsistent with "Intelligent Manufacturing". Therefore, BBAC urgently needs a set of professional, mature and efficient fixed asset software. The SAP's user license is too expensive, the threshold for use is high, it is unfriendly, and it is financially biased.
System positioning: Can well support and continue the SAP fixed asset master system.
Main functions: Design of various complex overall/drawing tasks, electronic on-site inventory of handheld terminals, summary of inventory results of each cost center, monthly reconciliation of assets, transfer, etc.
Additional function: Each cost center performs department-level fixed asset inventory tasks, compares key fields of the previous month with the current month, and highlights the changed parts.
